jd – To Infinity & Beyond!

So,  I don’t really think of myself as an artist or an entrepreneur, but I have somehow decided to start a small side business selling arts and crafts! It is called Infinity Crafts and the website is http://infinitycrafts.wordpress.com/!

I decided to do this because I saw a flyer at the Brighton Public Library for a craft fair and thought it would be fun to go…then thought it would be fun to enter myself! From there, it all sort of cascaded outward when the craft fair had a website, so I decided to build myself a website that could be linked through to (and to share with family and friends, direct anyone interested to).I then also had to figure out how to process credit cards, package my goods, have business cards, etc – it’s crazy how entering one small, local craft fair made everything balloon out!

I’m not really sure where I foresee this going at the moment. Honestly, I don’t really foresee it going anywhere (which I probably shouldn’t say publicly). I will be happy to sell anything at this fair, and am just enjoying the experience of seeing what it’s like to build a business, and learning some skills along the way (like building a simple website!!).
