I gave notice to quit my job with Boston Bikes in June and finished in September. Since then, people have asked me what I’m doing, what’s next, what’s the plan, what are we doing. It has felt a bit stressful and I’ve felt inadequate in my answers…..until now!
We’re back at it. We have booked one way tickets to Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 24th!
First, here is some visual inspiration of places we’ll be going (thanks to Google Images):

Ok, despite the one way tickets, we are coming back – we just haven’t gotten tickets yet; we anticipate staying down there for a few months.
Where are we going to go? Check out the itinerary.
How did you decide these places? What about your jobs? Your house? Are you crazy?! Check out the answers to all the FAQs we’ve been getting!
We are very excited and looking forward to getting back on the road for a bit! So you have a lot of blog entries to look forward to!
Awesome! Yes take the time to travel and explore as much as you can…life is too short and waiting until retirement years doesn’t always pan out…
Can’t wait for the update on your adventure!
Melissa
Great to hear from you Melissa! Hope you’re well!
Gary and I are so excited for you and David going on your next adventure to South America! You are young enough to more fully experience it’s wonders, terrains, climate and people than older folks making their way in a tour group! Stay safe, we know you are both seasoned travelers! Love you both. Uncle Gary and Auntie Sheila
Thanks Auntie Sheila! Traveling independently is fun and has it’s own benefits – and challenges! Sometimes I wish we were in a tour group – it would be a lot less work 🙂
Excellent idea! I’m looking forward to reading your blog posts about your trip. Glad you both are doing this (I know you have before). Many people wait until it’s not possible physically. Have a great trip and I’m sure all the uncertainty will turn into pleasant surprises.
Thanks Uncle Chris. I’m sure David will take some fantastic photos (not with any bears though) 🙂
One thing is for sure, when you get older and look back you will never regret it. Have fun, drink lots of wine and be safe you two.
That’s the idea – to not have any regrets when we look back 🙂 Thanks, it will be awesome!
